Holding Tax (Owner) - Owners are instructed to come with the following documents after his/her house been built 

1. An application has to be made to the Chairman and one written opinion from your local councilor has to be submitted with that application.
2. Xerox copy of Mutation information slip taken from Municipality.
3. Xerox copy of Form C i.e. Permission of Building the House.
4. Original copy of Plan taken from Municipality has to be shown when an inspection be done based on the application made.

Holding Tax (Occupier) - For the houses and shops which have been built on a place of Govt. Property, 

1. An application has to be made to the Chairman and one written opinion from your local councilor has to be submitted with that application.
2. Original copy of the affidavit taken from Executive Magistrate has to be submitted with the application and it is mandatory to be mentioned in the affidavit that the occupier is liable to leave the place as and when needed.
3. Xerox copy of development fee has to be submitted with the application in case of newly built house or shop.
4. Xerox copy of agreement of buying and selling of the house or shop in the place of govt. property has to be submitted with the application (if applicable).

Buying/ selling of Holding or Name change in case of Death- 

1. An application has to be made to the Chairman and one written opinion from your local councilor has to be submitted with that application.
2. Xerox copy of Mutation information slip taken from Municipality has to be submitted by the one who will belong the holding.
3. For Name change in case of death, if Mutation information slip is not present with the one who will belong the holding, Xerox copies of Death certificate, Legal hear certificate, No objection and documents of Holding Tax and agreement papers have has to be submitted with the application.

* After receiving the Demand bill it is required to pay the Holding tax within due time to cooperate with the development.

* One who does not posses a Holding, will be barred from the facilities of electric, water, Trade license and others.
